Type: ANIC (Paretas-Martínez & Pujade-Villar, 2006: 225).

DESCRIPTION

Length. Female: 1.4 mm. Male: Unknown.

Colouration. Head and mesosoma dark brown. Metasoma brown. Antenna and legs light brown, almost yellow.

Head. Elongated in anterior view, eyes located at higher part of the head, MS more than double the OOC. With some setae below the toruli; sparse setae on frons (Fig. e).

Antenna. Female: 12-segmented, clavate. Flagellomeres separate except last 2 broadly joined, all covered with sparse setae. Each flagellomere expanding towards its distal end. F1 short, half the length of pedicel. F2 subequal in length to pedicel, F3 to F8 each being slightly longer and wider than the previous segment. Last 2 flagellomeres broadly joined and forming a slender club (Fig. b).

Mesosoma. Pronotum with setae only on its anterior part; pronotal carinae small, only slightly indicated. Mesoscutum smooth, shining, almost without setae (Fig. f). No sutures on the mesopleuron. Scutellum smooth and with sparse setae on its posterior and lateral parts; 3 carinae at each side of scutellar apex, symmetrical, distance between them equivalent to distance between propodeal carinae. Propodeum with 2 strong and broad carinae (Fig. c).

Forewing. Large, longer than body, covered with dense pubescence; marginal setae present but not too long. Veins light brown and very thin. Radial cell completely open and large, 2r as long as Sc+R1; Rs long and curved and giving an elongated and large aspect to radial cell; R1 very short, not reaching costal margin; 2rm very short, almost absent; Cu1a, M+Cu1a, R s +M and M veins absent (Fig. a).

Metasoma. Proximal part of metasoma with a complete ring of setae. Metasoma not segmented, only 1 big tergite visible (Fig. d).
